Check out these delicious dinners that cost under $10 to put on your menu:
Turkey and Cheese Sandwich- Turkey, cheese, and any veggies of your choice – it doesn’t need to be fancy, but go with a lean turkey so you don’t overload yourself.
Pizza – A pizza is an easy way to get your partner to try something new while keeping it familiar. Go with either a traditional crust or a gluten free crust, but experiment with white pizza or a calzone and then top them it as many toppings as you would like.
Grilled Chicken – For a real easy and cheap date night dinner option, make some grilled chicken with just lemon and olive oil. Then you can make some grilled veggies to serve alongside the chicken.
Pesto Pasta- This is one of my favorite dinners. It’s so simple and only costs $6 for a large serving. It’s perfect for two as a main course, or two people as an appetizer.
Chicken and Dumplings – This is so easy, it’s almost cheating. I’ve made a few times this as an easy and delicious dinner for $5 and under. It’s so simple, and yet everyone has loved it!
Salmon Salad – This is a go-to for many dates that I know, and it’s usually about $10 per person. I have it with a grilled salmon, a couple of tomatoes, and a drizzle of olive oil.
Sushi Rolls – Another simple option that always works. We usually sheets of nori (that’s the green seaweed sushi is wrapped in) and roll our own. This will be less than $10 and always a good option. That’s right. It’s so much cheaper to make sushi at home than it costs at a restaurant.
